I in you

Three nestings: Christ in the Father, you in Christ, Christ in you. It is a single indwelling described from three angles, not a chain of command. And it is something to know rather than believe, "in that day": a day of realization, the day the eye becomes single and the body fills with light.

This is what the tradition has meant by Christ consciousness, long before the phrase existed: the direct knowing that the life of God is not outside you, pressing in, but inside you, shining out, and that the same is true of everyone you meet. Paul: "It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me." He meant that as a report.

You do not arrive at this by thinking about it. You arrive by removing what stands in the way, and every practice in this guide is a removal. Then, one morning, sitting in the dark before the light comes, you will know it.
